We finally had our first game. It was adorable! My son, Alaric, made the first goal of the game and proved to be enthusiastic (although a bit aggressive with his own team mates) and had loads of fun. That was the aim. I even got to use my cousin Kirsti's saying and let the kids know "The team that has the most fun WINS". At first I was completely scared about my coaching duties, but i9 sports is amazing! First of all, I'm an assistant coach with 2 other awesome mommies. Secondly, they had a staff (shouts out to Spencer) there to run the 30 minute practice before the game. I learned all types of cool things so that I may practice with my son. 1. FEET ONLY. (No hands) 2. Use the inside of your feet to dribble and kick. 3. Use both feet as much as possible The kids were darling. I especially loved seeing how spunky and tenacious the little girls are. The best girl on the field was actually a girl that would hold her teddy bear on the sidelines. I wanted to be on camera dut | |
